Artifex Solutions, LLC was honored to take part in the Paragon 28 Annual Supplier Summit & Golf Tournament at Arrowhead Golf Club in Littleton, Colorado — and to sponsor a hole in support of Freedom Service Dogs of America.

Representing Artifex Solutions on the course were Raymond Lebron, Kelmith Lopez, and Gabriel Gonzalez, joined by Matthew Millard, who rounded out our group for the tournament.

What stood out was not the golf. It was seeing an entire supplier network put its collective weight behind a single cause. Collaboration in the medical device industry usually shows up in tolerances, lead times, and validation packages. Seeing it shows up in philanthropy with competitors, partners, and customers pulling in the same direction was a reminder of what this industry ultimately serves.

About Freedom Service Dogs of America

Founded in 1987 and based in Englewood, Colorado, Freedom Service Dogs of America (FSD) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that transforms lives by partnering people with custom-trained assistance dogs.

FSD serves veterans and first responders living with PTSD and traumatic brain injuries, young adults with autism and other neurocognitive disabilities, and individuals facing mobility challenges from conditions such as cerebral palsy, multiple sclerosis, and spinal cord injuries. Each dog is custom trained for the specific needs of the person it will be matched with — from retrieving a dropped phone to helping someone navigate a crowded space without being overwhelmed.

Since its founding, FSD has graduated nearly 1,000 client-dog teams and provides lifetime support to every active team, all at no cost to the client. The organization is accredited by Assistance Dogs International, holds a four-star rating from Charity Navigator, and has earned the Platinum Seal of Transparency from Candid/GuideStar.
